No Mechanic has ever made me felt so at ease during a difficult time. I was really freaking out when my car started to shake uncontrollably. They went above & beyond to make sure my vehicle was fixed properly. I was not charged any extra fees for bringing an import for service. The labour cost was beyond reasonable and the courtesy car that was offered was the icing on the cake. I recommend these guys for everything.

I managed to drive over a large screw when I was leaving Thrifty's. I could hear it while I was driving. Thankfully my dealership didn’t have the time to put snow tires on my vehicle, or I never would have discovered the guys down at GRiP. They were very communicative every step of the way, gave me options and did what I asked in a few days. I am so happy with how the new tires look and feel. I appreciate the care taken with my tires and thought the vacuuming was a nice touch!! They also are just great guys with a sense of humour and that goes far with me. All of our experiences with GRiP have been wonderful. The customer service is excellent, and they are accommodating. The cost of repair is fair and reasonable, and I have never felt as though I am being taken advantage of. The front desk always takes time to explain services in plain language, and walk me through the reports. Yesterday, I got a flat tire in Langley, and being new to BC, I was feeling a little out of my depth on what to do, and how to get back to Port Moody. I called GRiP and as a member of their VIP program, they organized for a tow truck to come. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was very kind and understanding. I am really grateful for the consistent wonderful service at GRiP, and their willingness and without hesitation response in helping me out yesterday.

This review is long overdue. Over the summer, my partner and I were visiting Vancouver BC from Portland, Oregon for the first time. We had car trouble and had to get our towed as close to our air b&b as possible and this is the place we found. Car trouble is never fun, let alone when you're on an international vacation. But this place made the entire experience as pleasant as it could be. We were taken care of as if we were family, constantly communicated with (because the issue was unknown for a while), were given research and price comparisons, and ultimately got our car fixed for as cheap as possible, as fast as possible, and as safe as possible to get us home. The care and service we received here were above and beyond any customer service experience we have received, let alone from an auto repair facility. I WISH this place was local to us because I would never take my car anywhere else. We had such an incredible experience here and I hope this community realizes how lucky they are to have such a business with such care, integrity and compassion. Thank you!

I wish I could give more then 5 stars! We've had 2 great experiences in the last 2 weeks. We drove in with a flat and they got us in right away and did the repair quickly. Also received amazing service getting my snow tires put on. They got us in quickly, were super friendly, answered all my questions and did a great job. Great help when I had an issue loosening a lug nut. I brought it back to them since they originally put summer tires on for me. They took care of the issue same day no charge. They even put on all of my snow tires when I went to pick it up. Great customer service. I will go back!

From intro to invoice Grip has amazing communication. They provide photos and detailed explanations of what needs doing. They don't just throw parts at a problem. I have an older truck and things happen out of no where. Lee at the front desk does what he can to get you in when you're in a pinch but they are busy, for good reason. I can honestly recommend.

I have a y model Tesla therefore any kind of purchase of tires or repairs is extremely difficult. I went to a few places 8 to be exact with a flat tire they all denied any possibility of a repair for the flat. However Jordan and Steve definitely saved me a few big bucks 3000$ to be exact and that’s why I will be buying all my winter tire needs from them. Try them out on St. John’s. great group of guys

Called Grip when I had my catalytic converter stolen. They were a great help from start to finish. They recommended a towing company and were great communicators through the whole process. Lee kept me up to speed every step of the way, keeping me up to date with ICBC communications from his end. The theft of the catalytic converter was very frustrating but the team at GRIP made things a little better with the great service and communication. Would definitely recommend GRIP.

Great neighbourhood business! We recently needed to have our vehicle looked at and inspected immediately due to a distressing noise the engine was making. Lee and the team at GRiP were exceptional at ensuring we were supported, our vehicle was seen (as soon as they could, without over committing to a timeline, which was much appreciated) and all info shared both verbally, and in written format.While our outcome isn't what we hoped for - the team at GRiP did a great job - and even washed our vehicle, changed the oil (paid service) and then documented all other work recommended. There was never an upsell, and they took the time to ensure that I had a clear understanding of what was happening and what the issues were. We would happily come back to support this local business and it's team!
