New to the area and started to research where to take our vehicle for repairs. GRiP seemed to repeatedly get called out as one of the best in Port Moody. I had a really great experience taking my vehicle here for electrical work, tire and brake replacements. Quotes are shared with you electronically, and you can provide feedback over text making it so quick and easy to keep work moving! Staff were very friendly, informative, and helpful. Definitely recommend giving this place a go!

Edit**I already left 5 stars but have to repost because GRIP keeps knocking it out of the park. I've been a customer for four years now and they either meet or exceed my expectations everytime. I am not a mechanic but Jessie in the shop is patient and informative when explaining whats going on with your vehicle and I never have felt like there is pressure to pay for work that is not necessary. I feel informed when I pay and confident when I drive away. Thank you GRIP crew.Original Post:From intro to invoice Grip has amazing communication. They provide photos and detailed explanations of what needs doing. They don't just throw parts at a problem. I have an older truck and things happen out of no where. Lee and Mike at the front desk do what they can to get you in when you're in a pinch but they are busy, for good reason. I can honestly recommend.

Another great experience! This time with an appointment for an oil change. I called while waiting and asked if they could accommodate an air filter & A/C filter change also. They did. Had a great chat with Jesse when I got back. Waited because the filter they ordered when it arrived was the wrong one, they ordered another. I was sent on my way & they’ll call when it arrives & they will install. I found out they top up all fluids & wash & vacuum the car, darn, I’d just done it!Great service as always. Had bought a set of winter tires in the morning and drove by this shop in hopes I could get my tires swapped same day without appointment. They let me leave my car and guaranteed it would be done by end of the business day. Got a call at 4 that it was done. Great customer service, good work. As a bonus they vacuumed the car and checked other things as well. Highly recommend. Their reviews are justified.

I was referred to GRiP Tire and Auto by a friend and was incredibly happy with my experience. I was in need of new tires for my vehicle, and was given two options based on performance and affordability. This allowed me to choose a tire that met my travel needs, while also ensuring I wasn’t gauging the bank. The employees that I spoke to were very polite and made the process very easy. They worked with my schedule and were able to get my vehicle in quickly! I was shocked when I picked up my car and it was vacuumed (it was not a pretty sight beforehand). I would definitely recommend them for all your auto needs, as I feel they are trustworthy and respectful!! Very happy with the results!

Recently came for a seasonal tire change (8 tires/ 4 rims) and they did an amazing job in just over an hour. They also did a wheel alignment which completely changed the feel of the car. Very friendly staff as well. Will return in the future.

My wife and I were big supporters of Talisman Tire, such a great group of individuals (Looking at you Mike and Lee) who always put their customers first. What I really like about them is that they didn't oversell work. They would inform what issues took top priority and what work needed to be done in the future. I respect that so much.This week, our vehicle had a sudden breakdown, and they came to my rescue. They towed us to their fine establishment and quickly repaired the issue within 2 days. It would have been 1, but they had to wait for parts. ON TOP of this they washed and vacuumed our vehicle, and when I said I was going to take transit to retrieve the vehicle offered to pick me up at home. Just fantastic service all around!I am so happy to share that the changeover to Gripp Tire has maintained and continues to demonstrate the top-level work ethic and customer service. I won't get into details, but how Gripp Auto handled a recent situation was just above and beyond, and I can't rave more about how great this auto body shop is. Thank you, guys!Highly recommended. 5 stars!

In the middle of multiple appointments I developed a flat tire...on the rim flat tire! I dropped in and although very busy they fit me in and fixed my tire.I have gone off and on over the years to this location. It is new owners but they give exceptional customer service. I will definitely be back.

I chose to have my car been serviced here because it has the highest Google review scores of the auto shops within 10 km near my place. The service was as good as the dealership or even better. I finally don't have to pay so much at the dealers. Unexpectedly, not only a print-out report was handed to me after the service, I also received a digital report with all details and pictures. I will definitely go back in the future.

This place is great. Brought my wife’s car here when her tire got low and I couldn’t find a leak. They took her car and couldn’t find a leak either in the bubble tub. They took the wheel off. Cleaned the debris off the rim, put a new stem on. reinstalled it and it’s holding air fine they checked all the other tires too. Gave me my car back and didn’t charge a dime. Great honest place to take your vehicle!

Super efficient, super friendly and super work. They fit me in on a busy day and with a technician down. I couldn’t get over how friendly Mike was in person and on the phone. Took my car in for a brake inspection and was expecting the usual up sell and was pleasantly surprised when Mike advised the brake pads were at 70% and was even more surprised when I didn’t get a huge bill. Mike is a very knowledgeable guy and I would trust him with all my vehicle repairs.

I am never told i need something that I don't.I am always given a timeline for routine maintenance that is non Urgent.I needed brake work done.The parts were ordered received and installed all in the same day.Everyone is always friendly, courteous willing and able to answer my questions. The car wash and vacuum is an added bonus that I really appreciate!

I had just purchased a used truck and needed to get the snow tires off and a new set of rubber on. My problem was I needed it done yesterday and that’s where Mike and staff stepped in. They didn’t say no even though they were booked solid. Instead they asked if I could leave the truck with them and they would get to it as the opportunity presented itself. Changed break fluid in my car. It went well. They even provide me a shuttle to home and back. On a test ride they have discovered cause of suspesion noise over bumps and offered a quote to fix it.Communication was excellent. they provided detailed report of their findings.I am happy with Grip Tires and auto.

I’m a little late with this review, but I wanted to test out my tires first. So In the summer I purchased Firestone WeatherGrip all weather tires and was super happy with my experience at Grip tire. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fast forward a few months, and we have 2 inches of wet heavy snow making roads dangerous. This morning I had to drive during the worst part of the commute up and down some pretty steep hills in my little front wheel drive Hyundai. I have to say that these tires performed amazingly well. They cut through the snow all the way down to the blacktop, and I only spun my tires once, but only for a second. I’m thoroughly impressed with the choice of tire I made, and with the sales person who helped me pick them. Thank you Grip Tire!

Amazing customer service! After being told at TWO other places that my tire not fixable (is that a word?), and I would have to buy two tires even though only one was damaged, I stopped in at Grip Tire. They did a thorough evaluation of the damaged tire (it had a nail in it) and determined it could be repaired. They fixed it, swapped it out with my spare and didn’t charge me!! I am so impressed by their kind, honest customer service. Needless to say, all future tire purchases will be here (and I’m going to try their repair services too!!)

Very welcoming staff. Went in two times one with a slow tire leak … was so fed up – thought I needed to buy new tires – but staff looked and said no just repair . Then oil change light on so went for oil change and they said no just sensor . So they reset sensor ! This is my new place to go for any trouble I have with my car !!! They gave WOW service and now have a continuing customer !!!

On Friday, one of my new winter tires was punctured and I showed up without an appointment early Saturday morning. I was attended to immediately , given a courtesy car to help me with my weekend errands. My new tire was ordered and on my car by 2 pm that day. This team is service and safety oriented and I encourage all to take your tire needs here.

I was quite concerned when I took in my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport for new tires. Heard so many stories about damaged wheels etc. These guys are awesome!!! Great team and great customer service. Great customer service! Had a screw in my tire and showed up at 4:45, just 15 minutes until they were closed. Didn’t blink an eye am fixed my tire right away. Listened in on some other customer conversations and was very impressed with how folks were treated. Highly recommend these guys!
